About the project
Club Kakatua was built around a simple idea: most people who want to help the world don’t just want to drop money into a black box and hope. They want to back projects with a clear head and tail — a concrete goal, a budget that adds up, and updates as the work actually gets done.
We helped Club Kakatua build the website and the digital infrastructure to make that possible. Supporters could browse projects, fund the ones that resonated, and follow the progress as the money went to work. Once a project raised enough, it got executed and backers got to see how it played out.
What it became
Over time, the team’s focus sharpened around ecosystem restoration. Today the platform continues under a new name: The Restoration Club — a foundation that doesn’t just channel funds but actively creates, restores and protects nature. The work now spans forestry, reef restoration, nurseries and soil restoration.
Our role
We built the original website and the digital infrastructure that supports the projects online — and stayed close as the platform grew.
